Another use of ginger is that whether you take it in tea form, powdered, or as capsules, ginger alleviates digestive distress. As an added benefit, the anti-inflammatory properties of ginger can help inhibit the onset of migraine headaches. If you know you are prone to motion sickness, begin a ginger treatment a couple of days before your trip and continue to use ginger throughout your travels.
