He is in control

Tuesday, April 5th, 2016

When we were kids each of has had its own desire, we looked forward for what we wanted to become in the future especially the career that we longed for. As I journey this life I noticed that I am quiet far compared with my classmates and friends before. One of my classmates in my high school days is now a doctor, one already a lawyer and the other best friend of mine is now a seafarer. Most of them are now successful. As I tried to look back I noticed that I never come up to the place where I wanted too. This 17th day of April is part of my journey to grasp and a step for my longed plan career and I know I’m not ready yet but I knew He is there upstairs who is in control in all things and I trust and rely it to Him in my success. To God be all the glory and honor.

If we are happy of what we are doing then our hearts are fulfilled and satisfied. I am a nurse by profession but never practice; I am always thankful to God for placed and settle me in a big hospital. My salary is bigger than when I was a nurse. I considered it as a blessing from God. I knew He put all things together in order, one thing we needed is just drew near to Him and ask Him to completely work over your life. Surely you won’t be disappointed.

In my heart

We do not know what might happen for tomorrow. I worked as a nurse in a big hospital for many years, it is my desire to practice my profession but opportunities are many and we need to be realistic in all aspects. Lately I was called up for another opportunity, The same place where I worked but I will be transferred to another department. This is far from my profession but the salary offered to me will be doubled. With no hesitation I accepted that offer but still nursing is in my heart.

Adrenaline came rushing

Today I worked Day shift 6am-2pm. I set my alarm clock at 5:30 am. My alarm went off but I think I was still half awake and turned it off without my awareness. I was dreaming that I am already prepared for my shift. Then finally I suddenly wake up and when I looked at the clock, it was already 5:56am. All my adrenaline came rushing. I jumped off the bed and was fully awake in just a moment. I was kind of confused as to what do I need to do first. Finally I figured it out. Of course, I was not able to have a full shower as I used to before my every shift. Fortunately, I arrived in the birth room 2 minutes before endorsement time. It is good that I am just staying in the clinic where I work.

The journey to well-being starts with simple steps

In my field of work, I usually get tired almost after every shift. Delivering babies is not easy. It takes all your energy especially when births have complications. I always remember, I don’t have to take fatigue lying down. There are many ways I can fight back: Eat a balanced diet. Get enough sleep as possible. Exercise regularly by walking or jogging each day. Have a positive attitude. And take multivitamins daily. It won’t just get me back on my feet. It made me feel like the world is at my feet.
