This is the day of my Nursing Qualifying exam. I woke up early and went to the exam place 30 minutes earlier. I made new friends there who are also planning to be in The Nursing training program.
I was kind of excited to know what will be questions. At the same time, I was kind of nervous if I know the answers to the questions. I just leave it all to God and I asked for wisdom to be able to answer correctly and pass. I was thankful that I know the answers to some of the questions. There are questions that I was not sure of so I just did the elimination strategy in the exam. I am hoping I will pass. The result will be post this week. I can’t wait to know if I pass or not.

I am very excited to have another chapter in life in my nursing profession. I will be Training in Medical Intensive Care Unit this February whenever I pass their Qualifying Exam. I specialized in Maternal and Newborn Nursing. I care for pregnant women, doing prenatal, delivering babies, baby check-ups and postpartum check up. I can’t wait to be in the other area of Nursing. Right now, I am reviewing or studying for my up coming exam this January 16, 2009. Include in my prayers.

I was called the other night to insert and IV (intravenous) insertion. The patient really needed an IV so that the Induction of labor be started. The staff of the Lying In Clinic were not successful of inserting an IV so they called me up. I was almost ready to sleep when I received the call. I am very much willing to help them when they need to. I was praying that God would bless my hand to let me insert the dextrose successfully in just one poke. It felt a little bit stress because, somehow I doubted myself a little though I already done many insertions. I do not want to poke the patient twice since the patient had been poke like thrice with their try. It would be so shameful if I do not do it successful since they expected me to make it. I really prayed hard that God will help me with it. God answered my prayers. I did it successful in just one try. To God be the glory.

Happy New year to all!!! CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is another year God has given us to give us another chance to correct the mistakes we made and to learn from. Another chance He give us to really understand the real meaning of life and what is the purpose why we are here on earth. I cannot imagine how the days ran so fast. It just like 2008 passed us by to say hello and goodbye. I am excited of what God has enstore for me for the year 2009.
